Kazakhstan national air company Air Astana launched new flights Almaty-Tbilisi and Almaty-Samara on June 2, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the company's press-service. These flights will be performed by new Embraer-190s on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight time from Almaty to Tbilisi will mke 4 hours, and Almaty-Samara flight will last 3 hours 30 minutes. “Air Astana is delighted to launch new services to Tbilisi and Samara. This will help boost business, economic and cultural ties between these cities and Kazakhstan,” said Peter Foster, President of Air Astana. “Passengers taking advantage of the growing outbound flight network of Almaty can now start enjoying the airline’s award winning service aboard the new fleet of Embraer E-190s.”
